ABOUT ME
Since my teenage years, I had a deep desire to understand and transform smiles, because I always saw dentistry as more than a science: a true art capable of restoring each person's essence and confidence. This dream, shared early on with my parents, guided every step of my journey. With tireless dedication on my part and great effort from my parents, I graduated in dentistry.
During my final year of study, I had the privilege of starting a postgraduate program in aesthetic dentistry, learning from masters who were leading references in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
In 2006, I began my career as a dental surgeon, and since then I have developed a distinctive approach to dentistry that goes beyond technique and procedure. I believe in integrating the aesthetics of the smile and the face as a path to balance and to valuing each patient's individuality. Since 2014, I have included facial harmonization in my practice, seeking natural and personalized results, always with deep respect for each person's anatomy and identity.
For nearly two decades, I worked at Araujo Garcia Odontologia, a clinic I co-founded in Balneário Camboriú in 2006. Today I practice at my own clinic in the Menara Medical Center, seeing patients from Balneário Camboriú and from more than 15 countries.
My commitment is to a holistic view of health and aesthetics, combining dentistry and orthomolecular practices to understand the patient as a whole. To that end, I carry out detailed analysis of lab tests and prescribe supplements that support well-being and vitality. For me, dentistry is a meeting of science and sensitivity, technique and perception, innovation and tradition.

2001-2006
GRADUATION IN DENTISTRY - CESCAGE PONTA GROSSA
I had the honor of studying dentistry full-time, in person, in Ponta Grossa, Paraná, a city whose program was at the time considered the 3rd best dental school in Brazil.
2005-2007
POST GRADUATION IN RESTORATIVE AND AESTHETIC DENTISTICS - ABO PONTA GROSSA
I started this postgraduate program during my final year of dental school, as aesthetics was already my passion in clinical practice.
Treatments: Dental veneers, resin and porcelain veneers, porcelain crowns, teeth whitening, replacement of aesthetic fillings, aesthetic rehabilitations and smile makeovers.
2008-2010
POST GRADUATION IN CORRECTIVE AND INTERCEPTIVE ORTHODONTICS
In 2008 I concluded that for most patients who came to me to solve aesthetic smile problems, the results could be even better if I moved some teeth to achieve a more aligned, level and symmetrical smile. So I decided to start studying orthodontics.
Treatments: Lingual orthodontics, self-ligating braces, aesthetic orthodontics with clear removable aligners, orthodontics with anchorage mini-implants and conventional orthodontics.
2008-2010
POST GRADUATION IN FUNCTIONAL JAW ORTHOPEDICS
Treatments: Correction of facial dysplasias (abnormal development) and dental malocclusions with removable appliances, guiding the craniofacial growth of children and teenagers.

QUALIFICATION IN BOTULINUM TOXIN FOR THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT
When I expanded my practice to orthodontics, many patients began coming to me for treatment of joint pain, headaches and pressure on the teeth. These complaints came up again and again, so I decided to study the subject and came across an outstanding course by Dr. Ferrão and Dr. Levy Nunes on it.
Treatments: Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, orofacial pain, bruxism (teeth grinding), teeth clenching, tension headache, gummy smile (excessive gum display), sialorrhea (excessive saliva production), preventive use to reduce the strength of the masseter and temporal muscles in some cases of immediate-load implants, and facial paralysis.
2014
FACIAL MATCHING
Since I was already immersed in the world of therapeutic botulinum toxin, I then came into contact with the aesthetic use of botulinum toxin along with facial fillers.
My goal was to use fillers to finish my orthodontic treatments, because many patients had a weak chin or thin lips. When their fixed braces were removed, patients said their mouth looked better with the braces, because they gave more volume to the teeth, which projected the lips.
That was when I decided to enter the world of facial aesthetics... an area that was still off-limits to dentistry. So the only way was to seek this knowledge independently through books on dermatology, plastic surgery, biomedicine and pharmacy, until in 2014 I had the honor of taking part in the founding meeting of SBTI, the Brazilian Society of Botulinum Toxin and Facial Implants. Through hard work and tireless negotiations, this society succeeded in having Facial Harmonization recognized as a dental specialty.
Treatments: Facial botulinum toxin, gummy smile correction, tissue repositioning to soften wrinkles, non-surgical nose reshaping (rhinomodeling), lip filling and recontouring, correction of soft tissue asymmetry, brow arching, jawline improvement, chin augmentation, Sculptra and Radiesse biostimulators, smooth PDO threads, thread lifts, enzymatic lipolysis of the double chin, facial slimming, micro and macro-focused ultrasound, plasma jet, buccal fat removal, peels, microneedling, etc.

My belief is that nothing is more beautiful in a face than preserving the natural features, enhancing only what is already beautiful and keeping the skin's youthful texture and elasticity. That is why I increasingly guide my patients toward facial rejuvenation treatments, and when it comes to this, nothing beats combining collagen biostimulators with microfocused ultrasound. That is why I chose to acquire the Reface device, from the same manufacturer as the well-known Ultraformer, but with newer technology that reduces discomfort during the procedure.
