If you had a thread lift (PDO threads) at our clinic, congratulations on your choice! This technique rejuvenates the face, improves skin firmness and stimulates natural collagen production, with visible and long-lasting results.

Now, to ensure a smooth recovery and even better results, carefully follow the instructions below:

🤲 Avoid touching and handling

• For the first 12 hours, avoid touching, rubbing or massaging the treated area

• Be gentle when washing your face and do not press the skin where the threads were placed

​

🧘♀️ Rest and physical effort

• Avoid strenuous physical activity for the first 2 to 3 days

• Moderate rest helps the threads settle and reduces the risk of displacement

 

🥣 Diet in the first few days

• Prefer soft, easy-to-chew foods on the first day

• Avoid hard foods or foods that require a lot of chewing

🌞 Avoid heat and sun exposure

• Use sunscreen daily, even indoors

• Avoid direct sun, steam, hot water or excessive heat for a few days

 

🛌 Watch your sleeping position

• Avoid sleeping on your stomach for the first 20 days

• Try to sleep face up, without pressing your face against the pillow

 

🚫 Avoid impacts to the face

• Be careful when wearing glasses or resting your face on your hands

• Avoid trauma to the treated area, which can compromise the threads

💜 Swelling and bruising are normal

• Slight swelling and bruising may appear; this is expected

• Use specific ointments (under medical guidance) to help them fade
