Fractional CO2 laser
For when your skin has lost its glow and the texture bothers you up close.

Fine lines around the mouth and eyes, enlarged pores, spots and acne scars change the way the skin reflects light. Fractional CO2 laser creates controlled micro-channels in the skin, stimulating collagen production and renewal of the surface layers.
Who it is for
-
People with fine lines, especially around the mouth (upper lip lines) and eyes
-
People with uneven texture, enlarged pores or acne scars
-
People who want to complement facial surgery, such as a lip lift or blepharoplasty, by improving skin quality
How it is done
After topical anesthesia, the laser is applied to the planned areas. The session takes 30 minutes to 1 hour. Here we use light to moderate protocols, in spaced sessions, with a quick return to your routine. For deep lines, there is the intensive protocol in the Facial Surgery section.
Recovery
-
First 2 to 3 days: Redness, mild burning and swelling
-
5 to 7 days: Fine peeling; skin is back to a socially presentable look
-
2 to 4 weeks: Residual redness disappears
-
3 to 6 months: New collagen forms progressively
Care and risks
Strict sun protection is mandatory, because there is a risk of spots. Darker skin types and people with a history of herpes need specific preparation. The best time for treatment is between autumn and winter.
