Brow lift
When the tail of the eyebrow droops and you look sad when you're not.

When the outer part of the eyebrow drops, it changes your facial expression: your eyes look sad or tired, and the upper eyelid looks heavier. Lateral brow lift surgery raises this area and brings lightness back to your expression.
Who it is for
-
People whose eyebrow tail has drooped
-
People whose eyes look sad or heavy at the sides
-
People having an upper blepharoplasty who also have a drooping brow
How it is done
A small incision is made at the temple, inside or along the hairline, to lift and secure the tail of the eyebrow. Local anesthesia, with the option of conscious sedation. It takes about 1 hour and can be combined with blepharoplasty.
Recovery
-
First few days: Swelling of the forehead and temples, a feeling of tightness
-
7 to 10 days: Stitches removed
-
2 weeks: Back to social life
-
2 to 3 months: Final appearance
Care and risks
Asymmetry, temporary changes in sensation and a widened scar may occur. The plan aims for a subtle lift, to preserve your natural expression.
Frequently asked questions
-
Can't botulinum toxin solve it? In mild cases, toxin lifts the tail of the brow temporarily. When there is excess skin, surgery is the lasting option.
-
Is the scar visible? It is hidden at the temple.
If your expression doesn't show how you feel, let's talk.
